Furries,( or furs) are humans who are atrracted , on many levels, to an anthropomorphic animal character. i.e. an animal with human characteristics.

This may involve anything from a person who simply enjoys viewing 'furry fanzines' or films, to someone who actually desires to be a real furry or believe to some sort of non-human trapped within a human body.

Ok back to the furry thing. There is a lot of controversy over the sexual fetishistic aspect of dressing up as a furry within the community. Many just enjoy the role-playing aspect therefore claiming the practice to be non fetishistic. However there seems to be a lot of cybersex revolving arounf furrydom, according to this Wiki article which seems to be the most extensive.

I'll never view those old cartoons or a furry stuffed animal the same way again.
