What is Flurgl.com? It's a wiki site for the fetish community to define its terms, its concepts, and its ideas.

Flurgl started as the result of an off-handed comment in a forum rant: "I find it to be both laughable and infuriating to be told that I'm a 'dangerous fake' because I don't know what FLURGL stands for--especially when I've been dealing with kink for longer than the accuser has been alive."
Suddenly everyone wanted to know what FLURGL meant, and why they hadn't heard it before. In a sub-culture that's rife with acronyms, abbreviations, jargon, and alternate definitions, a lot of people get left out because they don't know what's going on.

So...Flurgl.com was born.

The site aims to become a resource for people who want to know what all those abbreviations and words mean. The concept for the site is a dictionary/encyclopedia for both beginners and old-timers alike. It includes also all kind of related knowledge: Vocabulary, definitions, descriptions of gear, descriptions of practices, meanings of fetishes...

No politics, no fanfare, no drama. Just definitions and explanations.
